Saved for/by Works?

So while good works are never a requirement for salvation, they are an expected result of salvation. They are not a condition for salvation, but a consequence of salvation. Having stated that, we must be careful in thinking we can quantify someone’s good works in a measurable or verifiable way. After all, non-Christians and even atheists do good works, and what we might assume is a good work done by a Christian might not be considered so by God.
